Jim Parry

Visiting Professor at Charles University in Prague and Consultant at Palacky University. He was senior lecturer in philosophy and Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom), and founder of the British Olympic Academy. Dr. Parry is a recognised specialist in Olympic education and the ethical perspective of doping.

Dr. Parry was appointed as visiting professor of the International Chair in Olympism in 2003. Among the activities carried out during his stay in the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (UAB), the seminar Sport ethics and education: new challenges in the media era is included.
