Daniel Malanski

Born in Brazil, Daniel is a journalist with a Master’s degree in communication and media studies at the University of Stockholm. He worked as a research assistant and senior lecturer in Latin American studies at the City University of Hong Kong.

Since 2012 is undertaking a PhD on cultural studies at the University of Paris III (Sorbonne Nouvelle). France on the social construction of identity through Brazilian media productions, literary movements and political history of the country. He receives a grant from the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

Daniel’s doctoral work is co-directed by Dr. Emilio Fernández Peña.
