Conferences and workshops
CEO-UAB has organised several events to generate debate such as symposiums, conferences and workshops, in collaboration with other local or international institutions.
Within the framework of the International Chair of Olympism (IOC-UAB, 1995), a series of symposia were coorganised with the Olympic Museum Lausanne: The Legacy of the Olympic Games 1984-2000 (2002); Volunteers, Global Society and the Olympic Movement (1999); Television and the Olympic Games. The New Era (1998); Olympic Villages (1996) and Olympic Cerimonies (1995).
Since 2013, CEO-UAB collaborates with the University of Southern California and the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III University to co-organise international symposia focusing on sport and communication issues.
